Keep These Things Handy before You Start the Procedure

  • ·         Hair color crème
  • ·         Colour brush
  • ·         Makeup removing wipes
  • ·         Vaseline

Before

  • ·         Wash your hair 24-48 hours before the process. This step will help you develop the natural oils present in hair, which in turn helps bind the hair color more naturally.
  • ·         Beware of dye stains because they are stubborn and does not leave quickly once caught. Cover yourself with soft cloth or towel and the table top as well.
  • ·         Brushing your hair well first will help you remove tangles which are a big no for hair color.
  • ·         Apply Vaseline or cover your hairline, neck, and ears with crème so that the color does not affect the hairline and give an odd finish.
  • ·         Never forget to put on the gloves before you start with the application.
  • ·         Mix the permanent hair color with the developer in a plastic bowl and also note to mix in right percentages. Make sure you have a right plastic brush for application.

Application part

Coming to the application part it’s easy to apply a hair color when you take it stepwise. 
  • First, divide the combed hair into strands. 
  • Apply the color with the brush to the strands and at the end wipe off extra colors from face and neck. 
  • Wait for 30 minutes, rinse off with color proof shampoo and condition.
